Just Scootering is New Zealand’s first scootering academy, providing lessons to beginners, intermediates, and professionals alike – ages five and up. With over ten years of experience, we can teach you everything you want to know about scootering.

Founded by Jordan Chan, a professional scooter rider and coach.
2019 – record holder for the longest manual on a scooter (300m) at Woodward East USA
2022 – 6th in the world for Men’s Pro Street at World Skate Games Argentina
2023 – 2nd in Street at the ASA NZ Men’s Pro Nationals
2023 – 6th in Park at the NZ National Scooter Champs
2024 – 2nd in Park at the NZ National Scooter Champs
2024 – 3rd in Park at the World Skate Oceania Games New Zealand
2024 - 2nd in FRS online video competition New Zealand
2024 - 16th in the world for Men's Pro Street at World Skate Games Rome

Jordan has travelled to many skateparks and street spots in New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, and the USA.

Our Vision

We are passionate about scootering, and our goal is to build a bigger scooter community in New Zealand. Ultimately, we plan for Just Scootering to establish a world-class indoor skate park for people of all ages to train and learn the sport of their choice – be it scootering, skateboarding or BMX! Getting good at scootering is not just about the tricks you learn. It is also about building confidence, coordination, balance, and social skills. If that sounds like something you want:

Ride with the best to become your best

CLUBNIGHT

Come hang out with the Clubnight boys on Wednesday nights from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. We run a small competition every week which is not only super fun but teaches the riders how to flow and ride the whole skatepark.
